Gynaecology
Emergency Gynaecological services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A wide range of elective gynaecological surgery including open, vaginal and minimal access (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) is undertaken. There are formal links with the Southern sector Cancer center for cancer services.
With gynaecology procedure include:
- Carrying out surgical interventions following miscarriage
- Treating abnormal bleeding and polyps
- Major surgery for gynaecology cancers
- minimal access surgery for problems including endometriosis
Obstetrics
Apart from regular consultant-run, there are specialist weekly at the hospital. These include Medical Disorders Clinic with Multiple Pregnancy Clinic with a multidisciplinary input. Diagnostic services include fetal anomaly scanning and amniocentesis. CVS and tertiary level scans scan are provided by the Enkehaus Private Hospital.
